Terms of Service: The Social Spritz
Welcome to The Social Spritz! By booking our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms ensure a seamless experience for our clients and maintain the standards of quality, safety, and professionalism we uphold.
1. Booking & Payments
- Deposit: A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
- Final Payment: The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the event date.
- Late Payments: Payments not received by the due date may result in cancellation of services.
- Accepted Payment Methods: We accept all major credit cards (Visa,Mastercard, AMEX, Discover), Apple Pay, Venmo, CashApp, and ACH (US Based Transactions only).
2. Cancellations & Refunds
- Client Cancellations: Cancellations made less than 14 days before the event will result in the forfeiture of the deposit. Cancellations made more than 14 days before the event will receive a partial refund (excluding the deposit).
- Event Postponements: If an event is rescheduled, we will do our best to accommodate the new date. Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional fees.
- Force Majeure: The Social Spritz is not liable for cancellations or service interruptions caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or emergencies.
3. Services & Event Requirements
- Event Scope: The Social Spritz operates exclusively at private, closed events (e.g., weddings, corporate events, private parties).
- Guest Count: Services are priced for up to 25 guests as the base package. Additional guests are charged per person at the rate specified in the proposal.
- Venue Requirements: The venue must meet the following conditions:
- A nearby handwashing station must be available.
- A proper kitchen facility must be accessible for cleaning and sanitizing equipment.
- If no kitchen is available, single-use utensils and pre-prepped garnishes will be required. Additional charges for store-bought garnishes may apply.
- Alcohol: The Social Spritz does not provide or sell alcohol. If requested, we can incorporate client-supplied alcohol into drinks under applicable laws. Clients assume all responsibility and liablility for the serving and supplying of alcohol.
4. Ingredients & Safety
- Ingredient Sourcing: We use high-quality, mostly organic ingredients sourced from reputable suppliers. All perishable items are stored and handled according to food safety standards.
- Allergen Awareness: A full list of ingredients and potential allergens is available at events. Guests with allergies are responsible for reviewing ingredient details and notifying us of concerns.
- Hygiene: Our team adheres to strict hygiene practices, including wearing nitrile gloves during drink preparation, regular handwashing, and sanitization of all equipment before, during, and after events.
5. Liability
- Guest Responsibility: The Social Spritz is not responsible for adverse reactions to food or beverage ingredients, including allergens.
- Event Safety: Clients are responsible for ensuring the safety of the venue and guests during the event. Any damages to Social Spritz equipment caused by guests will be billed to the client.
- Service Refusal: The Social Spritz reserves the right to refuse service to guests exhibiting inappropriate, aggressive, or unsafe behavior.
6. Sustainability Practices
- Biodegradable Materials: We use eco-friendly, biodegradable cups for disposable service.
- Reusable Glassware: We offer reusable shatterproof glassware rentals as an eco-friendly option. Clients are responsible for any damage to rented glassware.
- Composting: All compostable materials are disposed of at a local composting center.
7. Intellectual Property
- Recipes & Branding: All recipes, branding, and materials provided by The Social Spritz are proprietary and may not be used or reproduced without permission.
- Event Photos: The Social Spritz reserves the right to photograph its setup and drinks during events for promotional purposes unless the client requests otherwise in writing.
8. Changes to Terms
The Social Spritz reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Updated terms will be shared with clients and apply to future bookings.
